A quick stop in San Ignacio en route to Guatemala gave us our first caving experience in an ancient Mayan cave – Actun Tunichil Muknal. We were also lucky enough to be in town on a Saturday which sees San Ignacio host the biggest weekend market in all of Belize – fruit, handicrafts, spices, fresh local food cooked on the spot!
